Towards achieving Platinum standards for Green Building certification: a case study using Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) design

Abstract Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) will be the largest FIFA-standard stadium in Indonesia equipped with 82,000 seating capacities, two training pitches, and retractable roof on its top. Parking lots limited numbers; however, many modern public transportation systems pass over area to encourage people not use private vehicles. As Project Owner, PT. Propertindo (Perseroda) has set target achieve Platinum-standard Green Building. of mid-July 2021, JIS was still under construction actual progress around 64 %, design met sustainability’s highest requirements as Building Council (GBCI) awarded Greenship platinum JIS’ score 81.8%. The final assessment (FA), which includes on-site measurement verification, performed after is completed. This research aimed measure efficacy grade Indonesia’s sustainable building by comparing it another international rating system. LEED (Leadership Energy Environmental Design) from U.S. (USGBC) famous stringency energy performance assessment, chosen benchmark for this project. result shows that if criteria were applied at JIS, could up 77.4% meet conditions level.
